I have never liked writing about myself, as I am very self critical, and also I am not very interesting, so why anyone would want to read about me is beyond me!

For my sins I am a seasoned software engineer, with the majority of my experience being centered around the Microsoft suite of technologies, I also have experience in managing and leading development teams, both situated locally and off-shore.

I specialise in the production of scalable robust platforms, in which communication is centric. This can be internal communication, or the communication can be external, with another system hosted on the same machine, or with another system hosted in another continent.

On a personal level I am a family man, I love nothing more than spending time with my family and my friends, I have a love of great food (evidenced by my rapidly expanding waist line!). In another life (or so it seems) I enjoyed playing rugby, and boxing, however these days my only involvement is as a spectator.
